Q: How long does “weld metal” last?

Weld metal by itself is inert and very stable...it should last for many years if stored properly. A good rule of thumb is to store weld metal the same way you would store perishable food. Any moisture, sever temperatures, or rough handling, will drastically effect the shelf life of Cadweld materials.
